| Abstract/Contents: | "Field trials with benefin + oryzalin (N-butyl-N-ethyl-a,a,a-trifluoro-2,6-dinitro-p-toluidine + 3,4-dinitro-N4,N4-dipropyl-sulfanilamide) and oryzalin demonstrated that benefin + oryzalin at 3 lb/A and oryzalin at 1.5 to 2 lb/A provided effective control of large crabgrass (Digitaria sanguinalis), smooth crabgrass (Digitaria ischaemum), goosegrass (ELeusine indica) and annual bluegrass (Poa annua). Common, Tifgreen (328) and Tifway (419) bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), centipedegrass (Eremochloa ophiuroides), St. Augustinegrass (Stenotaphrum secundatum) and zoysia grass (Zoysia japonica) were tolerant to both materials at herbicidally efficacious rates." |
