Abstract/Contents:Offers suggestions for preparing a bowling green for play after resurfacing. Suggests that "there are three main points that [are] very important in getting a resurfaced green ready for play," including "do not let disease invade"; "get a good cover"; and "do not let the club rush...opening, especially if [there are] two greens." Emphasizes that "it is important to get a good cover as soon as possible in order to reduce drying out and cracking to stop weeds from becoming too dominant and to get play underway as soon as possible."
