Abstract/Contents: | "Five of fifteen species in ten genera of grasses, inoculated with a South Dakota isolate of barley yellow dwarf virus by using the bird-cherry oat aphid, Rhopalosiphum padi as the vector, were susceptible to the virus. Symptoms of barley yellow dwarf disease in the infected grasses are described. The possible importance of the infected grasses in barley yellow dwarf disease epidemics is indicated." |
