| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to evaluate "retail pre-emergence products...for annual grass weed control in a Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.) turf." States that the "trial objective was to assess performance of Scott's products to other granular herbicide formulations." Reports that "treatments were significantly different from the untreated control at all evaluation dates. Scotts Step 1 exclusively provided acceptable weed control throughout the trial period. Pendimethalin products (Turfbuilder and Step 1) exhibited a more uniform control than comparable products." |
