| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine the effectiveness of treatments against third instar black cutworm (BCW) larvae." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "a one ft [foot] barrier was established between each replicate and block. Granular formulations were applied with a hand-held shaker and mixed with fine top dressing sand to facilitate product distribution." Lists treatments evaluated in the study, including Acelepryn-371 0.05G, Acelepryn-318 0.08G, Acelepryn-319 0.08G, Acelepryn-330 0.1G, Acelepryn-320 0.12G, Acelepryn-312 0.167G, and Ortho Bug-B-Gon Max (0.115G bifenthrin). Reports that "no treatments provided significant control within 1 DAT [day after treatment]. All treatments provided significant control 3 DAT and 7 DAT after treatment. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
