| Abstract/Contents: | "Mixed populations of plant-parasitic nematodes, most often containing Criconemoides ornatus, Helicotylenchus pseudorobustus, Hoplolaimus galeatus, Tylenchorhynchus claytoni, and Xiphinema americanum, were observed causing damage to eight zoysiagrass lawns and one Kentucky bluegrass lawn in Maryland. O-ethyl S,S-dipropylphosphorothioate (V-C 9-104), applied as a 10G formulation at the rate of 20 lb technical per acre, controlled the nematodes and allowed recovery of the lawns." |
