| Abstract/Contents: | "An evaluation of fungicides for the control of Fusarium blight of 'Merion' Kentucky bluegrass showed that the systemic fungicide methyl 1-(butylcarbamoyl)-2-benzimidazolecarbamate (benomyl 50W) was very effective when applied in the spring as a preventative spray. Forty-five percent thiram + 10% 2-chloro-4-(hydroxymercuri)phenol also provided some control. Soil fumigation with three chemicals was not a successful means of control of Fusarium blight." |
