Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the importance of proper training for preventing and handling pesticide spills in the lawn care industry. Employees should be aware of risks involved and follow guidelines for handling situations which may develop. Routine checking of vehicles and application equipment before and during use will aid in the detection of potential problems. It is important that applicators know what chemicals he is using and steps for medical assistance and/or containing the spill. |
