Abstract/Contents:Continues a discussion from an earlier issue of Sports Turf Review regarding amenity grass seed production. Presents a table of the area of New Zealand covered with amenity turf. Briefly explains New Zealand sources of seed, stating that "importations of seed from overseas have become necessary to meet local demands." Suggests that "these imported cultivars are mainly the result of selection and plant breeding and are superior in quality to the unselected N.Z. [New Zealand] browntop and N.Z. Chewings fescue."
