Abstract/Contents:Discusses the potential importance of correct disease identification, stating that "clearly pinpointing which disease the turf is affected by is crucial in both achieving a cultural and, if needed, a successful chemical control." Discusses grass coloration change in February and March, explaining that "the colour [color] change relates to the leaves of annual meadow-grass turning a dull purple with hues of red and blue...The cause is invariably brought about by cold, dry easterly winds and frosts."
