Abstract/Contents: | Discusses potential benefits of using recycled water on athletic fields, including costs, reduction of freshwater demand, reliability of supply and the successful experiences in using recycled water. Suggests that "turfgrass managers should become familiar with federal state, and local regulations to understand their own obligations, and to assure themselves that their supplier is in compliance." Discusses potential salinity hazards of recycled water, and provides management techniques that may help in managing saline water. |
