Abstract/Contents: | "Crabgrass is a serious weed in many turf areas. The most desirable means of control is through the use of preemergence chemicals which inhibit seed germination. However, where preemergent means are not used, or fail, post emergence control may become necessary. Marked out for observation at hte experimental station this year are tests for preemergence and postemergence control of crabgrass. These tests are designed to evaluate the standard herbicides now used for control and several experimental materials." |
