Abstract/Contents: | Discusses "original" golfing turfgrass and suggests maintenance practices that may put turf health at risk. Explains that the trend towards turf speed greatly reduced mowing heights, which may encourage annual meadow-grass domination. Suggests that "turf performance must be the key, not [color], pretty patterns, excessive green speeds, or any other disguises, if the best quality turf is the aim." |
