Abstract/Contents:Presents a a list of "top ten turf tips" on golf courses modeled after a list compiled by the USGA (United States Golf Association) Green Section. Outlines various potentially essential maintenance and course components such as aerification, rolling, course irrigation and drainage, and tee and bunker construction. Identifies tree removal as the number one tip, suggesting that "one of the keys to initiating a tree removal program is to prove the need for it" through documentation.
