Abstract/Contents:Presents the question, "Is there any factor other than historical data that would cause a turf site to be considered a high-risk area for grub infestation?" Answers that "overall sites that are moist during egg-laying periods are more prone to get higher grub populations." Adds that "masked chafer grubs are fond of decaying organic matter and prefer moist soils high in organic matter."
