Abstract/Contents:Presents a request for information concerning where to find specification for an infield dirt mixture explaining that "what we are trying to do is take soil samples from the various fields and have a mechanical analysis done and then compare the results." Responds to the inquiry by listing some factors which may result in skinned areas on sports fields. Indicates that a previous article may provide further information on the topic, adding that some infield mix demonstration plots are being developed in order to aid sports turf managers in making better decisions.
