Abstract/Contents:Briefly discusses timing of preventive applications to control white grubs. Explains that while timing may depend on the type of grub, in general "the best time to make preventive applications is when threat temperatures reach 70 F [Fahrenheit] (21 C [Celsius]) - this usually falls in late May or June, depending on your location." Mentions other insect species which may upset this schedule, and recommends monitoring weather forecasts for threat temperatures.
