Abstract/Contents: | Details a project undertaken by the Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) to improve the existing golf greens on a golf course that took place from 2009-10. Explains that "this club had received independent agronomic advice in the past but it was not helping the greenkeepers to achieve the desired standards." Describes the initial assessment of the greens and provides a list of the problem areas that were found during the evaluation. Provides the renovation specifications that were undertaken during 2010, and adds that "the members have been delighted with the greens this year." |
