Abstract/Contents:Briefly describes "the development of a macroarray diagnostic technique with enhanced sensitivity of detection and small sacrifice on specificity." Details the probes included in the macroarray, and compares dimer probe detection limits with those of conventional and real-time polymerase chain reactions. Notes that "cross-hybridization occurred in highly similar sequences where the mismatch base was located near the end or in a chain of same base, which can be prevented in future array probe design."
