Abstract/Contents:Two Dollar spot control trials were conducted on a bentgrass nursery one-half Penncross and one-half Old Orchard. First trial examined efficacy of 3 fungicides with addition of Bivert, an Adjuvant intended to reduce drift potential of pesticides. Treatments were applied on 6/21, 8/2 with 4 replications. On 7/19, plots were covered with leaf clippings from diseased stand located elsewhere. Infection sites were counted on 8/19. Data indicated Bivert addition significantly reduced efficacy of all 3 fungicides (Daconil 2787F, Bayleton 25DF, Chipco 26019F). Test 2 examined a number of registered and candidate fungicides for control on an extended 21 day spray schedule. Innoculated plots with infected leaves. All treatments proved effective except experimental compound Ro 40-6637 noted that effect of a 21 day schedule was not really tested because no additional disease development occurred after the single episode from innoculation.
