Abstract/Contents:Presents research conducted at the University of California, Riverside to evaluate fungicides "for the control of dollar spot in southern California." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "the whole test area was inoculated with S. [Sclerotinia] homoeocarpa-infested oat seed." Reports that "weather conditions were hot and dry by the end of Jun [June] and as a result, dollar spot activity decreased quickly." Concludes that "overall, Emerald, Concert, Headway, Daconil Ultrex, and the 1.0 oz [ounce] rate of Bayleton provided very good season long control of dollar pot [spot] when applied curatively."
