| Abstract/Contents: | Reports that the American Vanguard Corporation's efforts were successful in ending the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) mandate to stop the sale or usage of the company's fungicide pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB). Explains that "the Chief Judge for the United States (U.S.) District Court for the District of Columbia has granted the company's motion for summary judgment and...that the agency official who signed the SSURO [Stop Sale Use and Removal Order] lacked the authority to issue such an order." Notes that the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia "remanded the matter to the USEPA for any further proceedings as it may deem appropriate."
