| Abstract/Contents: | Describes an amendment to the STMA (Sports Turf Managers Association) bylaws proposed in 2011, which would create a Retired Category of membership. Describes the Retired Category, proposed by the STMA Membership Committee, as pertaining to one who is no longer seeking full-time employment, and has been an instated member for five years, but wishes to continue involvement with the association. Explains that a retiree may become a non-voting and non-office holding member if they fulfill the above mentioned specifications. Outlines the Standard Operating Procedures for the proposed amendment which provides further information and distinctions of the position. |
