Abstract/Contents:The study examines the ability of Fe sources to mask the injury from spring applications of Embark (mefluidide) to control Poa annua seedheads. Test results of Embark alone (1/8 lb ai/A) and in combination with various commercially available iron sources indicates that most Fe sources provided some masking of Embark injury. Scott's Iron-S granular source provided the best turf quality. Ferromec at 2 and 4 oz/M also was effective. Many Fe sources antagonized efficacy of Embark, shown in a significant loss of seedhead control.
