| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted at the Turfgrass Research Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma to "evaluate several PGR's and PGR/Herbicide combinations." Details the methods and materials used in the study, "treatments were applied to 5 ft. by 10 ft. plots, moved prior to applications on May 29, 1990. Treatments were evaluated for bermudagrass canopy height, bermudagrass seedhead suppression, bermudagrass phytotoxicity, and annual weed control." Reports that "excellent bermudagrass seedhead suppression was produced from all treatments at 1 MAT. Concludes that "a late spring/early summer treatment of cimectacarb plus Oust could potentially delay mowing in urban areas to mid-summer and delay mowing in rural areas to late summer." |
