Abstract/Contents:"Golf courses can be dangerous to golfers, employees, and adjacent property users unless you practice reasonable risk management. Even with proper precautions, accidents on golf courses can still happen, sometimes with tragic, or even fatal, results. When such accidents do occur, and a lawsuit results, then it often falls to a judge and/or jury to decide who was at fault and if an award should be made to the injured party. The key issue in deciding these cases most often hinges on if the accident was foreseeable by a reasonably prudent person, and could have been avoided in a practical manner." Discusses risk management and suggests some techniques for preventing accidents.
