Abstract/Contents: | The drought did not have an a tendency to affect insects. Insects such as black cutworm and bluegrass billbug just moved from the dry rough into the irrigated fairways. This was the reason for the unusually high cutworm damage. The Japanese beetle continued to move through Michigan and expand its range. Ataenius plagued courses throughout the state. |
