| Abstract/Contents: | Clarifies that the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) is not comprised solely of superintendents and assistant superintendents, but also of turf educators and affiliate members who "truly contribute to the success of the association." Announces that the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG) has updated its website, and explains that donations received from the the EIFG "are invested primarily in research, scholarship, advocacy, and environmental programs." States that "dues, advertising, sponsorships, and user fees go to fund our operations and resources that support your facility and career." Suggests that "we need to continue to conduct research, collect data, and implement programs that foster golf's ability to be a good citizen." |
