| Abstract/Contents: | States that students in turfgrass management can apply for 'Safer Athletic Fields for Everyone' (SAFE) scholarships, a charity which "awards at a minimum each year $12,500" to qualifying student members of Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA). States that three named scholarships, the Dr. James Watson Graduate Scholarship, Dr. James Watson Undergraduate Scholarship, and the Dr. Fred Grau Scholarship "are awarded to the top graduate and undergraduate applicants." Adds that SAFE also awards two grants: one for practitioners and one for interns. |
