Abstract/Contents:"Karsten turf Company offers a five-part turfgrass management system for the golf course superintendent. Known as Turf Anser Management System (TAMS), it brings advanced technology transfer that assists in analyzing turfgrass tissue, provides recommendations to balance nutrient profile, provides a high-tech monitoring system to track and detect stress conditions and provides research, technological advances, news and education within the industry. The goal of the system is to provide superintendents with optimum conditions on their courses within established budgets. The first step in TAMS, nutrient analysis, identifies the existing nutrient profile of the grass tissue. The second step is the introduction of "probiotic" nutrients. The third step in TAMS deals with a more efficient method of applying liquid Turf Anser products. The fourth TAMS management tool is turf stress monitoring. The fifth tool in TAMS is information."
