| Abstract/Contents: | Announces the death of Angelo (Angie) Cammarota in 1995. Highlights that he held multiple superintendent positions, opened a "Cameo Landscape Service" that specialized in turf, landscape and tree service, and also climbed positions within the Mid-Atlantic Association of Golf Course Superintendents (MAAGCS) until he became President of the Executive Committee in 1966. States that "Angie was an individual who truly held his vocation was also his avocation; he was a mentor and friend to many younger turf professionals; and referred to them as his Step Sons." |
