Abstract/Contents:"Trials were carried out to assess the effectiveness of applying insecticides to leatherjackets in the autumn instead of the spring. The control exerted by the autumn treatments was satisfactory. Some alternative insecticides to DDT were also examined. Of these, parathion was outstanding from the aspect of effectiveness and cheapness."
