| Abstract/Contents: | "This paper first reported the Drechslera disease occurring on sport turf in the northern China. The results of study on Qilihe sport turf in Lanzhou and the National Olympic Sports Centre turf in Beijing indicated that the pathogen of turf disease is Drechslera poae (Baudys) Shoem in Lanzhou and Drechslera siccans (Drechs) Shoem in Beijing. High relative humidity is one of the main factors causing disease epidemic. Vertical mowing and rational application of nitrogen fertilizer can reduce the disease damage." |
