| Abstract/Contents: | "Tifdrawf [Tifdwarf], a perennial warm season turfgrass, was introduced to Wuhan in 1997 by Wuhan institute of forestry and pomology, and cultivated in four hectares of lawn in variant growing environments. According to the experimental data observed during two years, some good charcters [characters] of bermudagrass have been identified. It is hot-resistant and drought enduring, and it has strongly reproducibility and widely adaptability. The individual plant is very low with short node, small blade and dark greencolor, So the Tifdrawf [Tifdwarf] is a goof variety for covering yard, playground, public field and green belt of road in Wuhan." |
