| Abstract/Contents: | "Seeds of Bermuda grass Cynodon dactylon were treated with chitosan to evaluate the effects of chitosan on germination. The results showed that proper chitosan concentration (2.0%) could increase vigor index and seedling growth, improving germination rate and potential. The respiration rate of germinating seeds also enhanced with chitosan concentration increase. It is concluded that chitosan treatment is benefit for seed germination." |
