Abstract/Contents:"Two turfgrasses, Crossfire II (Festuca arundinacea) and Cutter (Lolium perenne) with different drought resistance were used to identify the ability against the osmotic stress. After the root system of seedling was treated with PEG6000 solution (two concentrations), the relative water content and relative conductivity of leaf, and the ratio of root to shoot were measured. The results showed that drought resistance of Crossfire II was stronger than Cutter."
