| Abstract/Contents: | "Twelve agronomic characters of seven representative bermudagrass in Xinjiang were studied. Result showed: variation of Xinjiang bermudagrass was great, most of them were suitable to be used for forage or turfgrass with great potential that they could be cultivated into new varieties. Among them, C5 has the trait of high and strong stalk, big leaf, high yield; C1 had the trait of low and slim stalk, fine leaf; other materials lay in the middle. By cluster analysis and comprehensive evaluation, they could be divided into three different types, i. e., forage and lawn type including Kashi bermudagrass, Xinnong No. 1 bermudagrass, C4, C3; lawn type including C1, C2; forage type including C5. This study could provide as a reference for further utilization of Xinjiang bermudagrass germplasm resource." |
