| Abstract/Contents: | "A preliminary study was conducted on the chloroplast ultrastructural changes of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L. Var.Grimalda) at different soil drought treatment in hot summer. It was indicated that the chloroplast ultrastructural injuries only induced by natural high temperature were slight and that by both high temperature and soil drought were severe. It was observed that some of chloroplasts expanded to be deformed even to be broken especially after the dehardening. Also large holes occurred inside the chloroplasts. It was imagined that the chloroplast membrane would be easily injuried after the dehardening." |
