| Abstract/Contents: | "The effect of different ratios of Lolium prenne [perenne] (10%~80%) on establishment of mixed seeding cool season sportfield turf were investigated under the experimental conditions. The results indicated that growing rates and qualities of turf were remarkable different among the different ratios of L. prenne [perenne]. The establishing rate of turf faster as the ratio increased. The quality of sportfield turf assessed using a method of Fuzzy mathematics showed that the best ratio of L. prenne [perenne] was 20%, followed by the ratio of 50%. It is concluded that 20% of L. prenne [perenne] could give the good establishment of cool season sportfield turf as both establishing rate and quality considered." |
