| Abstract/Contents: | "An experimental was made on the growth and change in shape of St.Augustine grass (Stenataphrum secundatum Kuntze.) under low light conditions. Under the lighting conditions of 5, 15, and 35µmol m-2·S-1, the Leaf Area Index (LAI) value increased along with the transition of the new leaf development period. Especially, under the lighting condition of 35µmol m-2·S-1, it was clear that Leaf Area Ratio (LAR) value reached the maximum value, and affected the Relative Growth Rate (RGR) value. The single leaf thickness and blade length increased along with the LAR value. Under the lighting condition of 260µmol m-2·S-1, however, the LAI value did not increase significantly due to the increase in the number of withered leaves." |
