Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Als Fries buiten Friesland woonachtig is een reportage maken over het veldbeheer van kaatsvelden een wens. Hollandse dijkwerkers introduceerden in de 16e eeuw het kaatsspel in Friesland. Ondertussen is kaatsen topsport in de Friese kleigebieden. De sport heeft vaag iets weg van tennis zonder racket en wordt gespeeld door twee parturen (teams) van elk drie spelers. Jan Oostra van de gemeente Franekeradeel en zijn collegae hebben de eer het veld te onderhouden en te prepareren waar de PC, dé grote jaarlijkse wedstrijd, wordt gespeeld." |
