| Abstract/Contents: | "The influence of methyl 1-(butylcarbamoyl)-2-benzimidazolecarbamate (beno- myl) on the control of Tylenchorhynchus dubius alone and in combinations with the following nonfumigant nematicides was tested: ethyl 4-(methylthio)-m-tolyl iso- propylphosphoramidate (BAY 68138); S,S-diisopropyl (2-methoxyvinyl) phosphono- dithioate (CHEM 7375); O,O-diethyl O-[p-(methylsulfinyl)phenyl] phosphorothioate (BAY 25141); or S-methyl 1-(dimethylcarbamoyl)-N-[(methylcarbamoyl)oxy] thioformimidate (DPX 1410). Benomyl effectively reduced the number of T. dubius parasitizing 'Toronto' creeping bentgrass. Benomyl enhanced the activity of BAY 25141 and DPX 1410, but appeared not to be compatible with BAY 68138 and CHEM 7375." |
