| Abstract/Contents: | In addition to the two year turfgrass management curriculum, MSU now offers a new two year Lawn Care Technology program. The new program consists of 4 terms of classes. Between the second and the third term, students are placed with successful lawn care companies to gain "hands on" experience. The academic curriculum includes courses in basic agronomy, turfgrass management, various business subjects, horticulture, and several other topics, which should well prepare the students for management positions in the lawn care industry.
