| Abstract/Contents: | Two applications of Dyrene reduced infestations by Helminthosporium vagans infestations on Poa pratensis turf. Infection of Agrostis and Festuca spp. by Sclerotinia homoeocarpa and Fusarium and Typhula spp. was also reduced. Even stands of varieties with no apparent disease were obviously improved by treatment. Damage by Fusarium and Typhula spp. was almost completely prevented on a sports ground where Poa annua, P. trivalis and Lolium perenne predominated. The occurrence of Fusarium in a shady plot of P. annua was likewise reduced. |
