Abstract/Contents:"[Objective] The goal of this research was to select microorganism agents for the compost of turfgrass clippings and accelerate the usage of turfgrass clippings as a recycle resource. [Method] Different microorganism agents were added into turfgrass clippings respectively and temperature and nutrient content in the composts of different treatment time were determined. [Result] The addition of microorganism agents significantly affected the changes of the temperature in the composts. The contrast, no microorganism agents, had the slower temperature rise and faster temperature drop. The nutrient content of the composts were different among several microorganism agents treatments. The highest nutrient content was found in the composts added with Sufubao microorganism agent and Straw starter culture, and total nutrient content in the lawn chipping compost was higher than the standard nutrient content of organic fertilizer. [Conclusion] Sufubao microorganism agent can enhance nutrient content in maturity compost and outstanding effects are expected in actual application."
