Abstract/Contents:"The basic purpose of spray adjuvants is to act as a 'boost' for the pesticide to which they are added. ...the intent is in some way to improve the performance or ease of application of a pesticide. This may include products that reduce foaming or drift, reduce drying time on the plant or increase the adhesion to the plant. Others may extend the residual activity of the pesticide." There has been little testing conducted on many adjuvants at universities. Recommends that studies be made of adjuvants for use in turfgrass pest management."
