Abstract/Contents: | Oil spills can permanently damage turfgrass. In order to prevent the removal of turf, immediate detection of the spill is crucial. Once an oil spill has been detected, action must be taken immediately. Discusses certain steps that should be taken if a spill occurs. But remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
