Abstract/Contents: | With increasing concerns about pesticides harming the environment there has been increasing restrictions on chemical use. These increase restrictions have caused turf maintenance professionals to search for alternative pest management controls. Nematode control has become an alternative for some turf professionals who have problems with white grubs. Not only can nematodes be an effective control for white grubs, but also other turf pests such as cutworms, armyworms, cutworms, and sod webworms. The results of a case study using nematode control are given. |
