| Abstract/Contents: | The trials were conducted at the Iowa State University Horticulture Research Station in the fall of 1990. 125 cultivars of Lolium perenne were maintained at 2 in mowing height and fertilized with 3 to 4 lbs of N/1000 ft2/yr. The months sampled were April, May, June, July, August, and September. The cultivars Brightstar, Palmer II, Pick 89-4 and Pick DMK were 4 top performers. |
