Abstract/Contents: | To begin plant propagation, fill wood or plastic trays with a 50-50 mix of peat moss and pearlite. Water to settle mix. Take three inch cuttings of new growth, strip one-third of leaves, pinch buds from top, and dip bottom ends in rooting hormone. Place cuttings in rooting media, sprinkle, and place under mist. After three months, plants are able to be transplanted into three inch pots and fertilized once a week with a 21-7-7 fertilizer. |
